SPRING PUBLICATION is pleased to announce a new imprint, WINTER PRESS, based in Arroyo Grande, California, and created in 2021 by SAFRON ROSSI, a scholar-practitioner of archetypal psychological astrology and mythology, and GLEN SLATER, Co-Chair of the Jungian and Archetypal Studies program at Pacifica Graduate Institute. Both ROSSI and SLATER are members of the Editorial Board of SPRING PUBLICATIONS.
WINTER PRESS is oriented to furthering the perspectives of Jungian and Archetypal Psychology, especially pertaining to the study of myth and culture. Its logo combines the Aquarian vessel, signifying the need for a temenos in turbulent times, and the Capricorn goat-fish, suggesting the creative tension between climbing to spiritual heights and descending to soulful depths. WINTER PRESS will publish select and limited offerings reflecting this orientation.
